The Province of Ascoli Piceno is the Lead Beneficiary of MUSEUMCULTOUR. It is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the project as well as for administrative and financial management (work package 1). The Lead Beneficiary chairs the Steering Committee, composed by members appointed by each project partner, which meets every six months. The role of the Steering Committee is to discuss the plan jointly and follow up the project activities and work programme, set out the work methods and the timetable, monitor and evaluate the whole project implementation.
The Province appointed a Transnational Coordinator who coordinates project beneficiaries, manages the timely implementation of project activities and supervises the follow up of project Work Packages. Furthermore the Province appointed a Financial Manager who ensures a sound financial management of the project budget, supports partners in the reporting procedures and regularly monitors the spending forecasts.

The long experience acquired in projects of EU cooperation and its specific competences in tourism promotion, marketing and communication, cooperate to fulfilling with competence the communication activities under its responsibility (WP2 Communication) and to realizing the activities of marketing and promotion included in the others WPs (WP3 and WP4).
Due to its status as local development agency, it is in the position to cooperate with and involve key local actors like museums and cultural institutions, whose contributions is of the uttermost importance for the proper implementation of the project’s activities
The knowledge centre Postojna is involved in all project activities, sharing its knowledge and experience especially in museological area. The partner is the lead of the WP3 – designing and installing museums’ collections and exhibitions, since it will develop the biggest exhibition within the project. The thematic exhibition on karstic phenomena is relevant not only for Slovenia, but also for all the other involved territories and partners, since they are mostly situated in the karst areas and horbour extreme biodiversity of subterranean life. The closing promotion event in Postojna will be hosted by the partner.
Postojnska jama d. d. contributes added value to the Project thanks to the visibility, fame and tradition of attractions – the Postojna cave and Predjama castle. Besides they can contribute with the know-how experience in international marketing gained by its experts, based on the fact that 87 % of all visitors are coming from abroad. The project MUSEUMCULTOUR will be managed by the same experts of international marketing who are also very experienced in tourist guiding, interpretation of cultural attraction, development of integrated tourism products and international events. Postojnska jama will be actively involved in all join projects activities and will have a leading role within WP4, which includes: carrying out the join marketing strategy, visitors survey coordination, the programme and coordination of common training on interpretive planning and guidance and developing joint interpretive manual, coordination of two visitors study, cooperation and networking with the stakehpolders in all destination.
The Museum plans to set up the mobile exhibition on endangered biodiversity of the Adriatic Sea and to refurbish the modular part of our permanent exhibition "The ecosystem of the Adriatic Sea" for promoting the museum activities and its attractiveness. Through the use of the newest museum technologies this will improve communication with the museum visitors and help present Adriatic cultural and natural heritage in partner countries (ME, SI and IT). Within the project the Museum plans to host 3 temporary exhibitions of project partners and organise one workshop on interpreting the cultural and natural heritage. This will offer all partners the opportunity to share experience in implementing novel museum exhibition technologies and new methods of museum education.
Natural History Museum of Montenegro, on behalf of a declared ecological state, will contribute to the project by emphasizing the touristic value of untouched nature, as a bonding factor and a constant of cultural similarities. Through the presentation of native specimens, the exhibitions will also communicate both to local and cross border public the commercial importance of conserved biodiversity. The articipation of the museum will help greatly in generating the results of the project, with particular emphasis to WP3 and WP4. As a contributing partner, NHM takes part in all the activities proposed in the project. Their particular experience is in educational exhibitions for schools and broad public. They are gradually including digital multimedia and interactive presentations. Within this project, they will have the opportunity to raise the level of quality, e.g. by training workshops for guides, modern design and adopting new means of communication with public through networking activities with the other partners.
