The “Papal Paper Mill Museums” hosted in a valuable XIV century travertine building close to the Castellano river represents a highly modern and multimedia scientific focal point for the territory, hosting the: - “All the Water in the World” permanent exhibition, showing the key role of water in the development of human activities and shaping of landscape; - “Paper Museum”, where old tools and machineries have been recreated to show how paper was made in the past; - “Antonio Orsini” Natural History Museum, a collection of minerals, fossils, shells and plants collected by this famous local scientist and still displayed in their original XIX century cases.
The complex also includes the “Water Ecomuseum of the Piceno”, spread all over the province territory.
